The Indian carmaker Mahindra is getting ready to introduce a new car called the XUV.e8. But before they officially start selling it, they’ve been testing it out in different places. The XUV.e9 can go up to 450 km on a single charge, according to the WLTP test. It can also charge very fast, up to 175 kW. It will take only 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent.

The XUV.e9 can have either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The RWD models will have up to 285 PS of power, and the AWD models will have up to 394 PS of power.

Features

It will have a coupe SUV body style, with striking design elements like stacked headlamps, LED DRLs, and wheel sizes between 17 to 20 inches. Inside, expect a panoramic sunroof, advanced displays, OTA updates, Level 2 autonomous driving, and premium interiors.

Safety

The XUV.e9 has not been tested for safety by GNCAP or BNCAP yet. But it may have 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, TPMS, and ADAS features like lane keep assist and auto emergency braking.

Rivals
