Omega Seiki Mobility Unveils Hydrogen-Powered Marvel, Rage+ H2x

Omega Seiki Mobility has finally ventured into the Hydrogen vehicle space by launching its first three-wheeler called Rage+H2x at Hyvolution Paris.

It will serve as a small commercial vehicle. The company is developing this vehicle with the help of a French entity. This move by the company will play a pivotal role in advancing this innovative endeavor, marking a significant stride towards sustainable practices in the domestic market.

The Rage+ H2x isn’t just a vehicle; it’s a marvel of engineering that combines cutting-edge technology with environmental consciousness. This groundbreaking addition to the streets is set to revolutionize transportation.

Hydrogen Technology in India: Cost

The production cost of green hydrogen is projected to be in the range of ₹240-280 per kg, surpassing that of grey and blue hydrogen. Introducing a subsidy of ₹40-50 per kg for certain cases could narrow the cost gap, making it more competitive with blue hydrogen. Additionally, the utilization of carbon credits has the potential to further align the cost of green hydrogen with that of grey hydrogen.

In India’s previous year, Tata Motors unveiled their Prima H.55S which had the potential of with an impressive 290HP and an outstanding torque of 1200Nm. Delivering a substantial maximum range of 350-500km, this hydrogen-powered engine.

Uday Narang, the Founder of OSM, shared insights on the venture, revealing plans to secure USD 25 million from the US and European markets. This financial infusion is crucial for expanding OSM’s footprint. The deal will be aligned with India’s vision of 2030 which targets reducing emissions by 45%
