Ola S1X Electric Scooter
Ola Electric is all geared up to introduce the new Ola S1X range amid other new models at their “End Ice Age, Part 1” event which began at noon on 15th August. The S1X launch is Ola’s push towards EVs in a move to end the ICE Age.
The company had offered glimpses of the S1X model which is poised to be the most budget-friendly EV in their portfolio.
The S1X will be available at an introductory price of Rs 79,999. Its bookings start from 15th August itself, while the deliveries will start from December onwards.

According to Ola Electric Founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, “It will be quite stupid to buy ICE two-wheelers anymore after today because buying EVs is not only good for the environment, but it’s good for your wallet also.”

The Ola S1X will be available in three different variants: the model S1X with two battery pack options and the S1X + variant.

Price
The Ola S1X 2 kWh and the 3 kWh battery pack version are priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999 till 21st August. After which the prices will be hiked to Rs 89,999 and Rs 99,000 respectively.
While the S1X + has an introductory pricing of Rs 99,000 which will be increased to Rs 1,09,000 after 21st August as well.

Range and Top Speed
Ola S1X has a certified range of 151 kms. It has a top speed of 90 km per hour and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
Features
Ola S1X has a taller headlight cowl and a slight redesign in the front which establishes a visual distinction from the rest of the S1 range.
The S1X+ is equipped with smart connectivity, one of a kind 5-inch segmented LCD display, and keyless unlock whereas the S1X only features a 3.5-inch segmented display.
The Ola S1X and S1X+ are based on the Generation 2 platform. It has a boot space of 34 liters and is equipped with a better battery, improved thermal performance, and additional safety features.
