Ampere, a subsidiary of Greaves Electric Mobility, has launched its newest electric flagship scooter, the Ampere Nexus. This model, based on the Nxg concept unveiled at last year’s Auto Expo, has undergone extensive testing, including a remarkable cross-country journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. With the successful completion of this long-distance trek, the Ampere Nexus has now been poised for launch. Priced at an introductory price of  Rs. 1,09,900 lakh, this scooter is ready to make its debut on the market. It will be available in 2 variants – Nexus ST and Nexus EX. The introductory price of Nexus EX is Rs. 1,09,900 and the price of Nexus ST is Rs. 119,900. These prices will rise by Rs 10,000 once the introductory offer ends.

It has a multi- patented twin suspension hybrid swingarm that ensures optimal transmission an best- in class confidence. Other highlights include the brightest LED headlight and tail light, with LED units also adorning the apron-mounted indicators.

Bookings for Nexus Electric scooter is now open for Rs 9,999 and deliveries are slated to begin from the end of May. 

FEATURES

The Ampere Nexus boasts several standout features designed to enhance the rider’s experience and safety on the road. Its diamond-cut headlamp ensures maximum brightness, providing excellent visibility for the road ahead. Additionally, the chassis is built to be four times stronger, offering maximum rider safety regardless of the terrain. This scooter features a front disc brake setup, a first for Ampere scooters, along with a rear drum brake for reliable stopping power.

Furthermore, the Ampere Nexus is equipped with a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers suspension setup, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride. Depending on the variant, riders can enjoy a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation in the ST variant, or a 6.2-inch LCD instrument console in the EX variant. The scooter also offers three display modes – Night Mode, Limp Home, and Day Mode screen – catering to different lighting conditions and preferences.

Ampere Nexus will be available in four attractive colors. All colors are inspired from the vibrant beauty of India. The Color options are as follows:
