Audi Q8 e-Tron Electric SUV and Sportback
Audi India has launched its most awaited Luxury electric SUV Q8 e-Tron SUV and Sportback in India today by a live event.
Audi is all geared up to introduce the Q8 e-tron electric SUV in India. The Audi Q8 e-tron is its most awaited luxury electric SUV and will be the new flagship electric SUV from the brand. It will help Audi expand its extensive EV portfolio in India and further solidify their position in the premium electric SUV space in the country. The e-tron range will now consist of the Audi e-tron GT, Audi RS e-tron GT, Audi e-tron, Audi e-tron Sportback, Audi Q8 e-tron and Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback.
Audi Q8 e-tron and e-tron Sportback will be available from a starting price of Rs. 1.14 Crores.
Design
The Audi Q8 e-tron has a futuristic design and a new look with laser engraved badging on the B-pillars and a 2D emblem.
At the front, it features the iconic Audi digital matrix LED headlights and will also be available with the optional singleframe projection light. It also gets five dynamic light animations for the coming home or leaving home function, setting for this is available via the MMI system.
At the rear, the SUV gets connected LED tail lamps. It also has better alloy wheels, glass panoramic sunroof, acoustic windshield wipers with integrated washer nozzles and doors with LED projector welcome lights.
Customization
The Audi Q8 e-tron will be available in 9 color variants. The color options include Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Soneira Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beige, Madeira Brown and Manhattan Grey. The interior can be personalised in three different colors as well: Pearl Beige, Okapi Brown and Black. It also has the option to self customize the EV and make the Audi Q8 e-tron exclusive.
Price
The Audi Q8 e-tron SUV is available at a starting price of Rs 1.14 crores and goes upto Rs 1.26 crore for the higher trim version.
The Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback is available at a starting price at Rs 1.18 crore and goes upto Rs 1.31 crore for the higher trim version.
Variants
Both the Audi Q8 e-tron models will be offered in two trims: Audi e-Tron 50 and Audi e-Tron 55.
The e-tron 50 trim gets a dual-motor setup that has a peak power of 338 bhp and maximum torque of 664 Nm which draws power from a 95 kWh battery pack on both the SUV and Sportback. The claimed range is 491 km and 505 km per single charge respectively.
The e-tron 55 Trim gets a more powerful dual motor setup that has a peak power of 408 bhp and a maximum torque of 664 Nm which draws power from a 114 kWh battery pack. It has a claimed range of 600 km per single charge and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.6 seconds.
Fast Charging
The Audi Q8 e-tron is equipped with fast charging technology. Both the SUV and Sportback get an AC charger and can support fast charging up to 170 kW. They also have charging ports on both sides of the EV for customer convenience. It can charge up to 80% using fast changing in under 30 minutes.
Features
The Audi Q8 e-tron will feature 7 different driving modes. It is developed in such a way that it ensures that there is no disturbance from outside and the EV has a Sound of Silence. The brand also offers great connectivity through the MyAudi Connect App.
The Audi e-tron is equipped with features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, four-zone climate control, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, ambient lighting, cruise control, park assist, powered front seats and a panoramic sunroof. Its safety features includes multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and electronic stability control.
After Sales Service
The Audi Q8 e-tron and Sportback e-tron get 5 years of warranty which can be extendable upto 7 years. They also offer a service package of upto 7 years coverage and Road Side Assistance of upto 10 years.
