Additionally apparent notwithstanding the cover are the new headlamps, like the ones on the MC20, and a bunch of huge streamlined wheels. Similarly likewise with the current model, the back tire curves are articulated giving it an extremely conventional look.

Equaling everything from M-fueled variants of the BMW 8 Series to the Ferrari Roma in petroleum structure, and EVs, for example, the Porsche Taycan in electric structure, the GranTurismo will likewise be joined by a drop-top GranCabrio, prone to show up in 2023.

The 2022 Maserati GranTurismo EV is a pure electric vehicle designed for high-speed travel. This futuristic 2 door automobile is perfect for making your way around town or cutting your commute time in half.

Its cutting-edge interior holds the latest in digital entertainment and communications devices, while innovative engineering brings the power and exhilaration of a supercar to this EV. Forget about fossil fuels and fill up on style instead.

Maserati GranTurismo Electric Power

Technical details have yet to be confirmed, but a likely candidate for the engine is Maserati’s new “Neptune” twin-turbo V6 found in the MC20. It produces 621bhp and 730 Nm of torque in that car, but it’s unclear whether it’ll be detuned for the GranTurismo.

There’s also a chance Maserati will stick with its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, which has recently found homes in the Ghibli, Levante, and Quattroporte Trofeo models.

The engine is similar to that found in Ferrari’s Portofino and Roma, but emissions regulations may make the V6 the preferred option for the GranTurismo.

 Range

The Electric car is guaranteed to have a longer driving reach and faster charge times but we are yet to see figures to support those claims. To be seen as a ‘GT’ it must be equipped with a range of around 300 miles on a single charge.

Interior

The GranTurismo electric will most likely remain a two-door, four-seater with plenty of luxuries inside, including the brand’s signature leather-and-silk upholstery by Ermenegildo Zegna.

The New Gran Turismo may have passenger space to be comparable to rivals such as the Aston Martin Vantage and Mercedes-AMG GT, as well as cargo space.

There is also a possibility that when the GranCabrio is released, its trunk capacity will be reduced to make room for storing a folding fabric roof.

Safety Measures

  • Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection is standard.
  • Lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist is available.
  • Adaptive cruise control with the semi-autonomous driving mode is available.
