Establishment of Joint Venture

The joint venture will be established at the Coventry University Technology Park in the UK, a renowned global automotive and EV technology hub. This strategic location will facilitate the development and production processes, leveraging the expertise available in the region. The collaboration signifies a significant investment commitment, with up to $50 million (approximately Rs 416 crore) earmarked for this venture.

Combining Expertise for Innovation

Pure EV brings to the table its expertise in battery technology and electric vehicle design, complemented by PDSL’s distinguished engineering services. Together, they aim to onboard global supply chain partners and establish a robust distribution network. The product resulting from this partnership is expected to feature cutting-edge battery technology, a dynamic powertrain, and advanced software functionalities.

Development and Launch Plans

The development phase for the new electric two-wheeler has already commenced, with plans for a market launch set for early 2025. This timeline aligns with the growing demand for electric mobility solutions globally, offering consumers an innovative and sustainable alternative for commuting and transportation.

PDSL’s Track Record and Clientele

According to Pure EV, PDSL has a track record of delivering leading-edge engineering and digital technology solutions since 2010. Their clientele includes prominent OEMs such as Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin, Volkswagen, Bentley, Lotus, McLaren, Rivian, VInFast, Polestar, Volta Trucks, Panasonic, and LG. This rich experience and industry insight will undoubtedly contribute to the joint venture’s success.
