Piaggio One Active
Piaggio introduced the electric scooter Piaggio One Active last year. It ushered in a new era of electric scooters. It offers emission-free urban mobility, great quality as well as technology, and a better safety mechanism along with all features of a high-end scooter like its fashionable appearance, smooth chassis, excellent handling, large charging capacity, and unmatched attention to detail.
In every way, Piaggio One Active is an user-friendly scooter. It is easy to use and convenient. It also has remote access in the form of the MAP button to the right of the handlebar to switch between Sport and Eco modes. While Sport Mode lets one experience the engine’s full grunt and a more potent riding experience, ECO is designed to save gasoline and deliver a longer range along with more gradual acceleration.
Range
Piaggio One Active delivers a top speed of 60 km per hour and an excellent range of 66 kms in Sport mode and 85 kms in ECO mode.
Specifications and Battery
Piaggio One Active has a motor with 2.0 kW of output power and a max torque of 90 NM. Its battery has a 2.3kW/H, 48V, 48Ah capacity. Its removable battery pack requires six hours to fully charge. The electric scooter has disc brakes with a size of 175 MM on both sides.
Features
The Piaggio One Active has a 5.5-inch color LCD instrument cluster that features a twilight sensor that adjusts the background and font colors according to the prevailing light conditions ensuring the screen is always legible, while the stylish, clear screen graphics are easy to read at a glance. It also has a large under seat compartment as well as a spacious footwell providing comfort to the rider.
Other features include keyless start, all-LED lighting, regenerative braking, a handy bag hook, and a USB port. It is offered in six color variants.
Price
The company has not disclosed the price of the electric scooter yet. It may range from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh. While the electric scooter looks sleek, the Piaggio One Active seems to be a little too costly.
