After Tata Nexon EV, Tata is about to launch the second electric car Tigor, which will be priced from 6 to 8 lakhs. Tata Tigor 72 V 3-phase AC Induction Motor and 21.5 kWh battery pack will come with it that will generate a peak power of 30 kW and 105 NM torque.
The car will come with a front-wheel-drive single-speed automatic gear. but, other electric cars also have a regenerative braking system which increases the battery range.

Chinese car company Great Wall Motors introduced the ORA Electric Car brand in India. Which aims to launch EV at a low price range in India.
ORA’S first car ORA R1 is expected to be launched in India in the price range of an estimated 7 lakhs. Talking about the performance of this car. It has a 35 kW permanent magnet electric motor Which produces peak power of 47HP and 125 NM Torque.
Apart from this, a 33 kWh lithium polymer (LMP) battery is fitted. hence, it can cover a range of 301 km. ORA R1 can reach up to a top speed of 102 km/h. ORA R1 will be launched by approx July 2021.

ORA is about to launch 3 electric cars in India is ORA R 1, ORA IQ, and ORA R2. ORA R2 can be launched in India in the range of about 10 lakhs. Ora R2 carries some of the same features as the ORA R1.
The performance of this car is more than ORA R1 it has 46 kW permanent magnet electric motors that generate power of 62 bhp. Apart from this, a 33 kWh lithium-polymer battery has been provided in the ORA R2, which can cover a range of 400km.
‘Great Wall Motors ( GWM )’ new ORA R2 compact EV car would be launching in India around May 2022.
