Vegh Automobiles have announced the launch of their new electric scooter VEGH S60, their first model in High-Speed Electric Scooters in India.
Under the Make in India Campaign, this will be their 3rd electric scooter after Vegh S25 and Vegh L25. It is expected that VEGH S60 will be under the FAME Subsidy.
Let’s have a look at the specification of the VEGH S60.
- It will have a battery of 3 kW on a 60V platform. The best part of this battery is that it’s designed as per the AIS 156 amendments by GoI.
- The charging time of this scooter will be around 3-4 hours.
- It is expected to have a speed of 60-70 kmph
- This electric scooter is expected to have a range between 100 to 120 km.
Vegh S60 is to launch in the end of December 2022 and bookings will start from the beginning of the launch day
Following the previous booking pattern, Vegh will allow customers to book their VEGH S60 for just Rs. 101.
Talking about the price, as per the reports, VEGH S60 is going to be an affordable electric scooter for the market.
Vegh Automobiles is an Indian e-scooters manufacturer based in Punjab that has previously launched two electric scooters under a future mobility initiative. The company has recently opened several dealerships in multiple states, including UP, Jammu, West Bengal, Orissa, and Punjab. Vegh has seen immense success with its two models, L25 and S25, and expects a welcoming response for its upcoming Swift S60 model.
