Tata Motors has launched a new electric sedan named “XPRES-T EV”. This is the same Tigor EV that was recently launched but without the Ziptron powertrain and a smaller battery pack. Unlike private electric four-wheelers like the Nexon EV and Tigor EV, the XPRES-T EV is also eligible for FAME II subsidy.

In terms of pricing, the XPRES-T with 16.5kWh battery pack costs Rs 9.54 lakh for the XM variant and Rs 10.04 lakh for the XZ variant. The 21.5 kWh battery pack variant comes in XM+ and XZ+ variants, which are priced at Rs 10.14 lakh and Rs 10.64 lakh respectively.

Note: The claimed range is ARAI certified and in the real world, it will be less than the Certified range.
The motor comes with a 30 kW power output and 105 Nm torque. The top speed is limited to 80 kmph. The XPRES-T EV will come with two battery pack options – 21.5 kWh variant with 213km range and 16.5 kWh variant with 165km range.

The XPRES-T EV can be charged from 0- 80% in 90 minutes for the smaller 16.5 kWh battery pack variant and in 110 minutes for the 21.5 kWh variant using fast charging. However, it takes 11.5 hours to charge from 0% to 100% using any 15A plug point.
Xpres T EV Features & Warranty
The company is offering dual airbags, automatic climate control, and ABS with EBD as standard across all variants. It will be available only in white color and offers 255 liters of boot space. The XPRES-T comes with a warranty of 3 years or 1,25,000 km.
