The Suzuki electric scooter has been officially confirmed and has been seen test driving on Indian roads and this electric scooter will be the first electric offering from the Japanese brand in India.
The company is all set to launch an electric version of its popular petrol scooter Burgman Street 125. For the past two years, Suzuki has been test-driving its electric scooter Burgman on Indian roads. This electric scooter is going to be equally powerful as compared to its petrol version.
The design of the electric scooter is exactly like its petrol version, the Burgman.
Specifications
Powertrain details are not yet clear, but we expect a better idea in a few hours – as the Suzuki electric scooter launch is scheduled for 18 November 2021.
This electric scooter can be equipped with a 3kw electric motor and is expected to have a certified range of 90 to 120 km on a single charge.
Also, it will support fast charging technology and comes with a 72v 48ah lithium-ion non-removable battery pack. It will take 4 hours to charge this battery pack from 0-80%.
Price and Launch
The price of the Suzuki electric scooter has not been disclosed by the company yet, it is expected to go between Rs 90k to 1 lakhs in India, the company planning to launch its electric scooter on 18 November 2021.
This electric scooter is a direct rival to the TVS Iqube and Bajaj Chetak electric scooters.
