Simple ONE Launch & Deliveries
Simple ONE electric scooter was in the news after securing funding of 165 crores. It seems the company has utilized the funds in revamping the electric scooter for commercial purposes. But there is a twist, the company has hiked the prices of the scooter and they will make it live by the end of April 2023.
Earlier, the prices of the scooter were somewhere around 1.09 lakh(Ex-showroom). However, with the commercial launch of the vehicle just around the corner, it is expected that the price will see an increase.
Reason for Delay in Delivery
The company plans to begin deliveries in a phased manner, starting with Bengaluru and expanding to other cities in the coming months. The Simple ONE electric scooter will be manufactured at the newly opened Simple Vision 1.0 plant located in Tamil Nadu. Customers who had previously placed orders for the electric scooter are eagerly anticipating the delivery of their vehicles, but the company had to delay the delivery schedule due to supply chain disruptions and the need to comply with revised vehicle and component guidelines to ensure that the production model is free of errors.

Brand name should be changed from Simple One to Complicated one, to deliver a EV. They are taking ages to build one. Company is fooling people by postponing delivery dates.

I booked in August 2021, even after almost 2 years passed, the company has not even sent a reply regarding the delivery or the tentative delivery date. They have collected our money and this is how they are treating customers….
