Ather Energy has signed an MoU with the Government of Karnataka to install 1000 Fast Chargers Across the State
ESCOMs will be the nodal agency for providing all technical assistance and government agencies will coordinate with them to share their available space for charging stations, a release from the CMO said.
Ather Energy was started in 2013 by Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain, two engineering graduates straight out of college with a dream to challenge the well-established internal combustion engine (ICE) and replace it with an electric drive.
Ather created India’s first smart and connected electric scooter, the Ather 450 product, and today the companies offer two products including the Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus, public and private charging infrastructure, and innovative ownership schemes.
