The wait is finally over, the BYD Atto 3 electric SUV, a product of a well-known Chinese company is ready to venture into the Indian Markets. The Atto 3 electric SUV was much awaited by the EV enthusiasts of India due to its outstanding performance and futuristic characteristics.
The company Build your Dreams (BYD) has launched its Second electric SUV in the market and since then the customers are all eyes to test this brand-new EV.
Atto 3 electric SUV is the second electric car offered by the company. As of now, the Atto 3 electric SUV couldn’t beat the growing popularity of car brands like MG ZS EV and Hyundai’s Kona EV and will bag the third position. BYD Atto 3 Price, and Delivery
The model is expected to cost around ₹30 to 35 Lakhs onwards which is a little higher than the MG ZS EV and Hyundai’s Kona EV. However, The new BYD Atto 3 can be booked for a token of Rs. 50,000, and deliveries of the first 500 units will begin in January 2023. The prices of the SUV are yet to be announced.

Design
From a wider perspective, the EV has a more modern approach than other cars.
Let’s find it out why? It has a set of brushed silver finish plaque LED headlights in the center. We can also see a hint of ICE vehicle touch in the car by witnessing a front bumper and the shape of air damps. The car has an 18-inch alloy wheel. It’s also wind-resistant up to 0.29 CD.
Interior
The car offers a futuristic experience from the interior as it has a rotating 12.8 inches screen that is attached to the middle of the Dashboard. The sound system has an 8-speaker audio system which comes in a tint of silver housing. Additionally, the Atto 3 electric SUV includes a 360-degree camera and wireless charging.
Battery and charging infrastructure:
The 60.48 kWh Blade battery in the BYD Atto 3 can be fully charged using an 80 kW DC fast charger in just 50 minutes. The Atto 3 will take up to 10 hours to fully charge using a household AC charger.
Additionally, it has a VTOL mobile power station feature that enables the Atto 3’s battery pack to be used as a power bank to support up to 3.3 kWh of gadgets and appliances.
Performance:
The electric SUV has a single PMS motor that produces 150 (201 hp) of power and 310 Nm of torque. It has a 0-100 kmph acceleration time which can be gained in only 7.3 seconds. The Atto 3 has regenerative braking and an ARAI-certified range of 521 kilometers on a full charge.
Security:
The SUV comes in with a 7 airbag and a 6 radar feature that is placed all around the car. Automatic emergency braking, front, and rear collision alert, lane assistance, Level 2 ADAS, and blind spot detection are all added to make the car’s security approach 360 degrees.
