Kinetic Luna, which was claimed as “India’s first entirely domestic moped,” was a pioneering 50cc two-stroke model created through a collaboration with the Japanese brand Honda Motor Company. This iconic moped played a crucial role in providing mobility, particularly for women. Its compact size facilitated easy maneuvering, gaining popularity in the western region of the country. Introduced in the early 1970s, the Luna was phased out in the early 2000s due to stringent emission regulations.
