The electric vehicle market in India has witnessed significant momentum, with JSW MG Motor India establishing itself as a noteworthy player. In December 2024, the Windsor EV emerged as the best-selling electric Car for the third consecutive month.

This remarkable achievement reflects the growing demand for premium electric crossovers in the country and highlights JSW MG Motor’s strategic strides in the EV segment.

Record-Breaking Sales Performance

JSW MG Motor India reported an impressive year-on-year growth of 25% in December 2024, selling 7,516 units compared to 6,019 in the last year. The company recorded its highest-ever EV sales in December and NEV (new energy vehicle) sales accounted for over 70% of the total sales with its crossover utility vehicle Windsor alone clocking 3,785 units, JSW MG Motor India said in a statement.

Additionally, 70% of the company’s sales came from its New Energy Vehicle (NEV) portfolio, which includes the Comet EV, ZS EV, and Windsor EV. The sales figures represent wholesale numbers, underscoring the robust dealer network and supply chain efficiency.
