Bengaluru-based startup Simple Energy entered the electric scooter market last year. The company launched its flagship electric scooter Simple One on May 23, 2023. The simple One offers a certified range of 212 km which is the highest range among electric scooters.

Known for its great range and modern design, the scooter is designed to offer a powerful, efficient, and eco-friendly option over traditional two-wheelers. 

It has a comfortable ride, advanced features, and smart connectivity, which makes it stand out in the EV segment.

Simple One Design and looks

The Simple One boasts a sleek and sporty appearance, especially when viewed from the sides. Its glossy body material combined with a modern touchscreen dashboard gives it a premium feel.

At the front, the scooter features an apron-mounted LED headlight, LED turn indicators, and LED DRLs positioned on the handlebar.

The rear design includes a split-style taillight and a stylish pillion grab rail, further adding to its aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the forward-slanting seat design adds a touch of aggressiveness to the overall look, enhancing its sporty character.

The Simple One features a 5kWh lithium-ion battery split into fixed and removable packs, offering an IDC range of 212 km. It powers an 8.5kW motor with 72Nm torque, enabling 0-40 kph acceleration in 2.77 seconds and a top speed of 105 kph.

Features of Simple One

The Simple One is a features-packed electric scooter in India. it has a 7-inch TFT display that connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing you to control navigation and music directly from the screen.

The software supports over-the-air (OTA) updates for added convenience.

Riders can choose from four different riding modes: Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic.

Additionally, the scooter is equipped with all-LED lighting and a boot light. While the 30-liter boot capacity may not be the largest in its class, it still ranks among the more spacious options available.

The simple One is available in six striking color options. 4 single-tone and 2 dual-tone. The color options are as follows:

Simple One Price in India

The Simple One electric scooter is priced between ₹1.50 lakh and ₹1.65 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), making it one of the more expensive electric scooters on the market. Additionally, opting for the faster 750W charger will incur an extra cost of ₹13,000.
