The Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 showcases significant advancements in tech, enhancing performance whilst improving safety and comfort.
The Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 comes equipped with a mid-drive motor with an integrated Motor Control Unit (MCU), instead of a hub motor used in the previous generations. The brand claims that this will increase the overall reliability and efficiency by five times, making the scooter more lightweight.
In addition, the brand has cut down the number of processing boards in the Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 into a single board, unlike the Gen 2 which featured three separate boards in the head unit. This upgrade enhances the overall performance as well as lowers the cost of the electric scooter.
The Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 scooter will also be equipped with a chain drive transmission with pre-lubricated O-rings instead of a belt drive, increasing the life efficiency by two times.
The Ola S1 Pro+ Gen 3 will be equipped with the new “MoveOS 5” EV operating system, with features like a Road trip with Ola navigation, Live Location Sharing, Smart Park, Smart Watch, Bharat Mode, Emergency SOS and much more.

The Brake by Wire technology makes use of a sensor on the brake lever to create a balance between the brake pad and the motor’s stress, increasing the overall range efficiency by 15% and doubling the life of the brake pad.
