Maruti Suzuki YY8 Electric Car Price, Power, Range & Launch

Maruti is all set to launch their own Electric Vehicle in India. According to some reports, the company is aiming at an export rate of 50%, which makes sense given its current market share and potential. The Maruti Suzuki YY8 EV will cater to domestic as well as international markets. 

YY8 will be manufactured at Suzuki’s production facility in Gujarat, with Toyota being instrumental in helping them manufacture this EV locally. Around 50% of the production is expected to be allocated for exports. The Maruti Suzuki YY8 is a class apart from the rest, a car that wants to make you smile. 

Launching Date

The first batch of Maruti Suzuki YY8 new electric SUV will be rolled out in India in 2025. It is likely to be a midsize SUV. The new design philosophy will be much more aggressive than its current ICE cars. Maruti Suzuki YY8 will be available in India with all the latest technology and features. 

Design

Maruti YY8 will be a compact SUV, with a compact electric skateboard-built architecture underneath. The car will be powered by an all-electric drivetrain, and feature a large battery pack. It is expected to be based on the 40PL global platform, derived from Toyota’s 27PL, which has been built for compact and compact mini-crossover SUVs. 

Its long wheelbase will ensure spacious interiors and a large battery pack. The car is a perfect combination of features and features making it one of the most sought-after cars. Maruti Suzuki is expected to launch an electric SUV by 2025. The upcoming Maruti Suzuki YY8 will have a length of over 4.2 meters, along with a wheelbase length of 2.7 meters.

The Maruti Suzuki YY8 is a high-performance hatchback, offering a high level of adaptability. The YY8 family offers you space to play, drive and experience all the thrills that come from exploring your surroundings. The car is expected to come with 138 hp to 170 hp and 140 BHP. 

Price

Maruti’s new electric SUV, Maruti YY8, is expected to be priced around Rs 13 lakh to Rs 15 lakh and will be available in the year 2025. The SUV is packed with hi-tech features. It has very spacious cabin space and excellent ground clearance. YY8 is expected to be on a good run with the launch of its Toyota version.
