This electric version will be based on the facelifted Hyundai Creta and will join the Ioniq 5 in Hyundai’s growing electric vehicle lineup in India.

While the exterior and interior will largely resemble the ICE (internal combustion engine) Creta, the EV will feature distinct design elements to differentiate it from its gasoline counterpart.

For instance, the Creta EV will feature a three-spoke steering wheel and a beige color scheme for the cabin, differentiating it from its petrol-powered counterpart. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit remains, but it will be enhanced with EV-specific graphics.

In terms of features, the EV will likely come equipped with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, keyless entry, push-button start, and a powered driver’s seat.

A range of over 400 km on a full charge is expected, making it an attractive option for those looking for an efficient electric SUV. Under the hood, the Hyundai Creta EV is expected to feature a 45-kWh battery pack paired with a 138-hp electric motor.
