Electric Two-wheeler Sales Report March 2023

The month of March has brought about a noteworthy surge in the growth of electric vehicles, which is reflected in the sales figures across all sectors. While we have seen some new entrants making their mark in the list of top players, unfortunately, we have also had to bid adieu to a few. In this report, we present the top ten electric two-wheeler players for March 2023, along with their sales figures and growth rates.

EV Sales Report March 2023

With a commendable sales figure of 83,860 electric two-wheelers sold in March 2023, as compared to the sales of 65,623 electric two-wheelers in February 2023. Thus we observed a growth rate of 21.74%

If we take into consideration the sales of March 2022, then this number would stand at around 54,398 registering a Y-OY growth of 35%. It is an encouraging sign to see the electric two-wheeler industry growing at a steady pace.

Without further ado, let us take a closer look at the top ten players who have made it to the top of the leaderboard. From market leaders to new entrants, these players have shown remarkable growth in the dynamic world of electric two-wheelers.

Ola Record-Breaking Sale

Ola Electric recorded the highest-ever sales in March 2023. The company has crossed the sales of 27,000 electric scooters in march 2023. Talking about that milestone Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder, and CEO of Ola Electric said, “FY23 has truly been a defining year for the EV industry in India. At Ola, we have remained resolute in prioritizing scale, speed, and uncompromising quality standards, all of which have contributed to the company’s consistent leadership position in the market. While last year has been successful in making EVs mainstream, the next couple of years will take the EV revolution to human scale, and Ola will be at the forefront of this revolution to lead this paradigm shift,” 

Other Prominent Players in the Market

The other prominent player in the two-wheeler category were BGauss, Revolt, iVOOMi energy, Pure EV, and lot many others.
