The much-awaited Ather 450X has finally dropped the price, and it’s better than ever! The scooter is designed for those who crave performance, reliability, and consistency as quoted by the company. This scooter is a game-changer in the electric vehicle space.

Before we dig in, let’s understand the price drop in Ather 450X

These prices are according to Delhi and thus the state subsidy is given according to the Delhi government program. Therefore, the prices and subsidies may differ from state to state.

Ather Pro Pack

But that’s not all. Ather is taking things up a notch by introducing the Pro Pack, which allows riders to upgrade their 450X in three key areas: Charging, Connectivity and Smarts, and Convenience.

Let’s start with Charging. With the Pro Pack, you can charge your scooter from 0 to 80%

in just 4 hours and 30 minutes, thanks to the purchase of an additional charger that enables faster charging using any 5A electrical socket.

“Plus, you’ll have access to Ather’s network of 1300+ fast public charging stations around the country, giving you the freedom to top up your scooter at up to 1.5km/min.” mentioned by the company in their community forum.

Connectivity and Smart feature upgradation by Ather

Moving on to Connectivity and Smart features, the Ather 450X boasts a stunning 7-inch color TFT touchscreen with 16M colors(resolution, situation, and clarity), complete with dark and light themes. You’ll also enjoy “Always On 4G LTE and GPS“, as well as onboard Google Maps Navigation with Live traffic view.

Access to the Ather App for remote charging monitoring, ride statistics, savings tracker, and more is also included. And with Bluetooth connectivity to your smartphone, you can accept/reject calls and control music playback on the go.

Convenience feature upgradation by Ather

Finally, the Convenience features are what truly set the Ather 450X apart. With five ride modes to choose from, including Eco, Smart Eco, Ride, Sport, and Warp, you can customize your ride to suit any scenario. With the TrueRange display, you can stay informed about the precise range left on your scooter. Moreover, the OTA updates ensure that your vehicle is always up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.  AutoHold, Reverse Assist, Guide Me home lights and Auto cut-off indicators make riding safer and more comfortable than ever before. And with the optional Ather TPMS accessory, you can enjoy remote monitoring of tyre pressure, unsafe tyre pressure alerts, and puncture alerts.

Warranty

All of these features come with a best-in-class 5-year or 60,000 km warranty on the battery pack, with performance guaranteed. And for those who want to make the most of their rides, the Pro Pack makes your ride smarter and more convenient than ever before.

The Ather 450 Plus is in the pipeline, and the 450X now comes at an introductory price of Rs. 98,183 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It comes with additional features like the Pro pack and a faster home charger available as add-ons.

No changes for the existing users

Existing owners won’t see any changes in Ather scooters from any of the following changes like charging, convenience, and smart features.

Why introduce the new Ather scooter prices and new features?

The direct reason behind this price reduction in Ola scooters. A few days back, Ola reduced the price of the S1 Pro bringing it down to Rs. 1,24,999/- To counter Ola and establish their leadership, Ather reduced the price further of their scooter and rolled amazing features.

Writer’s Remark

With the Ather 450X, Ather Energy has once again raised the bar for electric scooters in India. With its sleek design and innovative features, the 450X is a testament to Ather’s commitment to sustainable mobility. Whether you’re a die-hard performance enthusiast or simply looking for a smarter way to get around, the Ather 450X has something for everyone.
