In a stride towards reinvention, Mahindra and Mahindra India’s 4th largest car manufacturer today lifted the veil on its latest creation, the Mahindra Thar.e concept. This much-anticipated 5-door Thar’s version unveiling took place in the stunning backdrop of Cape Town when the country India is celebrating its 77th Independence Day. This new chapter of That.e concept car in Mahindra’s design signifies its ethos and commitment to electric mobility and has raised a new zeal amongst its Thar fans. As the Thar EV aims to combine the best of both worlds: the off-road capabilities and heritage of the Thar and the environmental benefits and futuristic features of an electric vehicle.
However, as the company states that it is a concept, it is still not sure if we’ll get to see the commercial version of the car on sale or not. Thar fans are hoping to see the iconic 4X4 Thar in the e-vehicles segment lining up for sale soon.
The prices are still on hold to be disclosed.
