TVS Motor Company has announced a special virtual event on August 28, 2025, teasing “an electrifying ride.” The media invite features a glowing “O” behind a covered scooter, strongly indicating the debut of the much-anticipated TVS Orbiter.
We have also received the official invite, confirming the launch date and building anticipation for the scooter’s full specifications to be unveiled at the event. Here’s the TVS Orbiter Official Price, Range, and more details.
The Orbiter is expected to be positioned below the TVS iQube as an affordable, entry-level electric scooter aimed at city commuters.
Industry chatter suggests a hub-mounted motor, a 2.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, and a range of around 70–75 km per charge.
Charging time could be under three hours (0–80%), making it practical for daily urban use.
Additional features being speculated include a TFT digital display, regenerative braking, telescopic front suspension, and a combination of front disc and rear drum brakes.
TVS already enjoys a strong foothold in India’s Electric two-wheeler market with the iQube series.
By introducing a more affordable model, the company aims to expand its reach to first-time EV buyers and strengthen its position during the upcoming festive season.
Launch Date: August 28, 2025
