The Indian electric two-wheeler market continues its surge, with TVS iQube leading the charge as the best-selling electric scooter in India for June 2025.
Backed by robust sales performance, TVS Motor Company retained its position at the top of the electric two-wheeler leaderboard for the third consecutive month, recording 25,274 units sold in June alone.
According to data from the Vahan Dashboard (as of July 1, 2025), TVS outpaced key rivals Bajaj Auto and Ola Electric, who recorded 23,004 units and 20,189 units, respectively.
This marks a consistent upward trend for TVS, which has been steadily climbing the charts since early 2025. Compared to May 2025, TVS registered a Month-over-Month (MoM) growth of 2.91%, continuing its growth trajectory in a highly competitive market.
The strong performance of the TVS iQube has been a key factor in this success. Designed with urban users in mind, the iQube has found favour for its dependable performance, accessible pricing, and growing service network.
It has increasingly appealed to commuters looking for a trusted and proven electric mobility solution, further boosting its nationwide popularity. Read here- Electric Two-wheeler Sales Data in June 2025 – Top 10 electric scooter Companies in India.
The June rankings highlight a growing trend: legacy two-wheeler manufacturers are strengthening their dominance in the EV segment.
Bajaj Auto, with its popular Chetak electric scooter, followed TVS closely with a MoM growth of 5.67%, while Ather Energy secured the fourth position with 14,512 units sold, a notable 13.02% MoM growth.
Ola Electric, which once led the market with a significant head start, remained in the third position.
Despite an improvement over May’s figures (up from 18,499 units), its relative performance indicates intensifying pressure from traditional auto giants who are rapidly scaling up.
Together, the top three players — TVS, Bajaj, and Ola — accounted for more than 68% of the total electric two-wheeler sales in June 2025. The top five, which also includes Ather Energy and Hero MotoCorp, collectively made up over 90% of the market, reflecting ongoing consolidation in the space.
In terms of month-on-month growth, Bgauss Auto stood out with an 83.11% surge, while new entrants like River Mobility and Revolt Motors made it to the Top 10 for the first time, signalling growing interest in alternative electric two-wheeler formats, including premium and performance segments.
