Tata Nano Electric Car with 160km Range – Most Affordable EVs

On February 10, Electra EV shared a post on LinkedIn mentioning Sir Ratan Tata (Former chairman of Tata Group 1990-2012)  had a trip in the custom-built TATA Nano EV. Electra EV is a company formed by Ratan Tata that supplies electric vehicle powertrain solutions. It presently offers two-passenger electric automobiles, the Nexon EV and the Tigor EV.

The company wrote,” It is a moment of truth for Team Electra EV when our Founder takes a ride in the custom-built 72V Nano EV, powered by the engineering might of Electra EV’s powertrain!

The TATA Nano Electric is a four-seater hatchback that resembles the petrol-powered Nano in appearance. This 72V TATA Nano Electric Car is predicted to have a range of 160 kilometers per charge, a top speed of 110 kilometers per hour, and an acceleration of 0-60 kmph in less than 10 seconds.

The EV industry is eagerly awaiting its official appearance, even though the estimated pricing and launch date are still unofficial.

TATA Motors currently has two electric vehicles on the market: the Tata Nexon EV and the Tata Tigor EV. This TATA Nano Electric car will be critical in helping the firm meet its goal of producing 10 cars by 2025.

The company will make this car as economical as before, thus its price in India is expected to be around Rs 4 to 6 lakhs in India.
