Tata Motors Introduces Lifetime Battery Warranty for Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 kWh, Sets New Benchmark in EV Ownership.

In a bold move to address one of the biggest concerns surrounding electric vehicles, battery longevity, Tata Motors has introduced a Lifetime High-Voltage (HV) Battery Warranty for its Curvv.ev and Nexon.ev 45 kWh models.

This game-changing offer, which covers unlimited kilometres, is now available to both new buyers and existing first-time owners.

The announcement marks an important expansion of the warranty program first introduced with the Harrier.ev, which EV buyers across India widely praised.

Now, Tata is extending the same peace of mind to customers of two of its most popular electric SUVs.

“We’ve always believed in making EVs more accessible, reliable, and premium,” said Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. “With the Lifetime HV Battery Warranty, we’re removing a major point of hesitation for buyers and reinforcing our commitment to a stress-free ownership experience.”

This warranty is available to all private individual customers who are registered as the first owners of either the Curvv.ev or Nexon.ev 45 kWh.

The goal is clear: build lasting confidence in the long-term health of EV batteries, while also supporting better resale value and lower total cost of ownership.

Tata estimates EV buyers can save up to ₹8–9 lakh over 10 years on running costs alone.

But that’s not all. In a show of appreciation for its early adopters, Tata Motors is also offering a ₹50,000 loyalty benefit to current TATA.ev customers who upgrade to the Curvv.ev or Nexon.ev 45 kWh. Read more – Top Electric Cars in India Offering Lifetime Battery Warranty

This initiative further cements Tata’s position at the forefront of India’s EV transformation.

By focusing on practical ownership solutions and long-term assurance, the company continues to push boundaries and redefine what consumers can expect from electric mobility.
