After numerous spy shots, teasers, and leaks, Tata Motors has finally launched their much-anticipated EV, the Tata Curvv EV. Tata Curvv EV will utilize the same Acti.ev architecture used in Punch EV.
This mid SUV electric coupe, aimed at the mass market, will be available in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) versions. The Curvv EV has a range of 502- 585 km. Its introductory price starts at Rs 17.49 lakh [ex-showroom] Bookings will open from 12th August 2024.
Let’s delve into some of the key specifications of the Tata Curvv EV:
The raised ride height, rugged cladding, and proportionate dimensions contribute to its overall look.
The Curvv EV comes in a light blue shade reminiscent of the original concept.
Key features include a centrally positioned front charging port, a sloping roofline complemented by a sleek spoiler, gloss black wheel arch cladding, a fresh alloy wheel design, and a connected LED light bar at the rear. Additionally, it boasts flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, and significant storage space in both the rear and front boots.
The interior of the Tata Curvv EV draws inspiration from the Nexon EV, featuring a similar dashboard design. At the center is a prominent 12.3-inch floating touchscreen, a hallmark of the high-end Nexon EV model.
Below the infotainment system are trapezoidal AC vents and a touch-based climate control panel, both echoing the design found in the Nexon. The four-spoke steering wheel, with its illuminated logo and two-tone finish, is reminiscent of the Harrier and Safari models. The Curvv EV also offers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a distinctive silver textured pattern adorning the dashboard trim. It has physical control panels for easy operations, a smart digital shifter, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lightning, and a lot more features.
