Ola Electric has introduced a significant update to its S1 X electric scooter, enhancing its features and functionality.
The latest update includes OTA (Over-the-Air) updates, enabling the scooter to receive software enhancements automatically without needing a visit to the service center.
This new capability ensures that customers can easily keep their scooters up-to-date with the latest software improvements.
Among the new features, the Vacation Mode stands out, allowing the scooter to enter a deep sleep state when not in use for extended periods. This addition helps preserve battery life during long periods of inactivity. Ola has also introduced advanced regenerative braking (regen), which recharges the battery while the scooter is coasting. Furthermore, the S1 X now includes “find my scooter,” ride statistics, and energy insights, adding to its functionality and user convenience.
The deliveries of the updated S1 X commenced in May, and it is available with three different battery pack options: 2 kW, 3 kW, and 4 kW. The respective prices for these variants are ₹74,999, ₹84,999, and ₹99,999 (ex-showroom).
