Oben Electric reaches 50 showrooms across India with the new launch in Visakhapatnam. Expansion to 15 states powered by demand for Rorr EZ and Rorr EZ Sigma.
Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle maker Oben Electric has inaugurated its 50th showroom and service center in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking a major milestone in its nationwide expansion.
The company now has a presence across 15 states and 37 cities, and aims to cross 150 outlets by the end of the current financial year.
The company’s growth has been fuelled by strong customer response to its flagship Rorr EZ and the recently launched Rorr EZ Sigma.
The Sigma variant builds on the original model with higher performance, improved practicality, and advanced commuter-focused features designed for Indian roads.
In recent months, Oben Electric has expanded into new markets including Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Aligarh and Unnao (Uttar Pradesh), and Palakkad (Kerala), further strengthening its retail footprint.

Oben Electric is one of the few EV startups in India with full vertical integration, manufacturing critical EV components in-house, including LFP batteries, motors, chargers, and vehicle control units.
The company also holds over 25 patents for its proprietary innovations. This in-house capability, the company says, ensures consistent quality and performance suited to India’s varied riding conditions.
With the Visakhapatnam outlet, Oben Electric is closer to its near-term goal of 150+ showrooms and service centers nationwide, each offering sales, after-sales, and dedicated service support.
Founded in August 2020 and headquartered in Bengaluru, Oben Electric is an R&D-led electric motorcycle manufacturer with a “Design in India for the World” vision.
The company specializes in performance electric motorcycles and has pioneered the adoption of LFP battery technology in India’s two-wheeler EV market.
