Conclusion

Evolving from one century-old technology to another is going to be a huge challenge for India. The people of India are habituated to using conventional vehicles. So, we Indians might take some time to adapt to the greener alternative.

The government has left no stone unturned to try to adapt this technology and even encourage Indians to switch to Electric vehicles. We strongly believe that with proper campaigns and financial benefits, electric cars will soon be a common affair in the automobile industry. 2021 has seen a gradual increase in EV sales in India.

For every 1000 internal combustion engine vehicles, 21 EVs were sold in August 2021(according to the CEEW, Centre for Energy Finance). We can expect the EVs to be cheaper soon too. By 2030 you will see a greater number of Electric vehicles than conventional vehicles on the road.
