The concept version of the MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV initially was showcased at the Auto Expo in 2023. It is anticipated that the near-production version of the EV will be showcased at the Auto Expo this month.

The MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV is expected to be unveiled in the Indian market at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Auto Expo is scheduled from January 17 to January 22, 2025, in New Delhi.

It is likely to be launched in the Indian market sometime in mid-2025 and is estimated to have a starting price of approximately 1 crore, making it a highly premium EV.

Its anticipated launch at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 showcases MG Motors’ commitment to driving the Indian EV revolution.

It is designed to have a seating capacity of up to 7 passengers across 3 rows with ample leg room and comfort for all.

The MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV gets a sleek and modern design, incorporating luxury and elegance at the same time.

It will feature a large chrome closed-off grille and LED lighting, providing a sleek front fascia. Meanwhile, the sharp rear bumper and LED tail lights offer a sleek and distinctive end look, elevating the design further.

The MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV is anticipated to be a feature-rich electric offering from the brand.

The MG Mifa 9 EV is also anticipated to be equipped with safety features like a Level 2 ADAS system, multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera system with parking sensors, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Monitoring, etc.

The MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV is expected to be built on the brand’s Maxus Intelligent Flexible Architecture (MIFA) platform, developed by SAIC Motor. This dedicated electric vehicle platform is designed to be compatible with advanced technology as well as support various vehicle types, such as MPVs and SUVs.

Battery and Motor

The MG Mifa 9 Electric MPV is anticipated to feature a front-mounted electric motor, producing a power of 241 bhp and a torque of 350 nm for enhanced performance.

It is also anticipated to be equipped with a high capacity powerful 90 kWh battery, offering an estimated range of around 500 kilometers on a full charge.
