It has now been confirmed that Maruti Suzuki will unveil the full production-spec version of the eVX at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo, scheduled from January 17 to 22, 2025.
Although the global debut was initially planned for later this year, unforeseen issues delayed the official reveal until January of next year.
According to a report by Autocar India, a senior executive from Maruti Suzuki, it was confirmed that the eVX will be announced at the Bharat Mobility Expo with a launch planned for early 2025.
While the Indian market is crucial, Europe will be given priority for the eVX launch. Maruti Suzuki has designated India as the mother plant for the eVX, which will also serve as the vehicle’s export hub.
The car is expected to be manufactured at Suzuki Motor Gujarat’s new EV production facility, further cementing India’s role in the global EV supply chain. Apart from Europe, the eVX will also be exported to Japan.
