This electric SUV could be the first Mahindra car to come with a large display on the dashboard. According to a report by HT Auto, a recent spy image of the test model gave a glimpse of the interior, showing three large touchscreen panels, suggesting a high-tech, luxury-oriented cabin experience.

Mahindra XUV.e9 Battery And Range

The Mahindra XUV.e9 will use a new platform called INGLO. It will have two types of batteries: Blade and Prismatic. The motor will be between 60 and 80 kW, and the power will be between 170 and 290 kWh.

The XUV.e9 can go up to 450 km on a single charge, according to the WLTP test. It can also charge very fast, up to 175 kW. It will take only 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent.

The XUV.e9 can have either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The RWD models will have up to 285 PS of power, and the AWD models will have up to 394 PS of power.

The all new XUV e9 will have a coupe SUV body style, with striking design elements like stacked headlamps, LED DRLs, and wheel sizes between 17 to 20 inches.

Inside, expect a panoramic sunroof, advanced displays, OTA updates, Level 2 autonomous driving, and premium interiors.

Safety

The XUV.e9 has not been tested for safety by GNCAP or BNCAP yet. But it may have 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, TPMS, and ADAS features like lane keep assist and auto emergency braking.

The Mahindra XUV.e9 does not have any direct rivals right now. But it may compete with the Tata Harrier EV & Hyundai Creta EV in the future.
