Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Mahindra is all set to expand its EV portfolio in India with the debut of the XUV 3XO EV, as seen in recent spy shots.

The XUV 3XO EV is anticipated to be positioned below the XUV400 in the brand’s portfolio, possibly providing a much more affordable entry point into their EV range.

A near-production XUV 3XO EV test mule was recently spotted undergoing road tests in Madurai, Tamil Nadu revealing several design, performance and feature specifications.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV  Design

The prototype of the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV was spotted testing recently.

There were minimal changes spotted between the ICE and EV models, suggesting that the brand plans to retain most of the design language of the ICE XUV 3XO.

However, the biggest change noticeable was that the brand had reduced the EV size and brought the dimensions in line with the ICE XUV 3XO.

As seen in the spy shots, the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV was mostly not camouflaged except for the front fascia and the back.

As a result, the XUV 3XO EV is anticipated to feature a new upper and lower grille with revised air dams at the front, while it could get a modified tailgate and rear bumper at the back with minimal changes in the sides.

The XUV 3XO EV is anticipated to retain the rest of the design elements of the ICE 3XO model. However, it will incorporate a few unique design elements for the EV model.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Features

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is anticipated to be a feature-rich electric offering from the brand, carrying similar interior and exterior elements to its ICE version. It is expected to feature a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, a 10.2-inch infotainment setup, and many more advanced features.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is also anticipated to have safety features like a radar-based ADAS system, multiple airbags, a 360-degree HD camera, projector headlights, etc.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Battery and Motor

Mahindra has not yet unveiled the exact battery and motor specifications of the 3XO EV. However, it is anticipated to offer a battery pack similar to the XUV400, with 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh battery pack options, offering a claimed range of up to 456 kms on a full charge.

It is anticipated to be equipped with a single electric motor with Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) option producing a peak power of 150 hp and a peak torque of 310 nm.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Launch and Price

It is anticipated that the near-production version of the Mahindra 3XO EV will be showcased at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Auto Expo is scheduled from January 17 to January 22, 2025, in New Delhi.

The Mahindra 3XO EV is likely to be launched in the Indian market sometime in early 2025. It is estimated to have a price of approximately 15 to 20 lakh, making it a premium yet affordable electric vehicle.

Final Thoughts

In conclusion, the brand is gearing up to strengthen its presence in the Indian EV market with this upcoming launch.

As Mahindra continues to refine its electric vehicle offerings, the upcoming XUV 3XO EV is expected to play a crucial role in expanding its market presence.

With a modern design, premium features, and impressive performance metrics, the XUV 3XO EV will likely attract a broad range of customers.

This launch is anticipated to contribute significantly to the growth of electric mobility in 2025 in India.
