Mahindra is set to broaden its electric vehicle portfolio with the launch of the XUV 3XO EV, an all-electric version of its well-known SUV. This new model (spied recently)  is expected to strengthen Mahindra’s presence in the rapidly growing electric SUV segment and is poised to go head-to-head with its primary competitor, the Tata Nexon EV. 

This article will delve into the expected pricing, launch timeline, and anticipated specifications of the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. 

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Expected Pricing in India

Mahindra is likely to position the XUV 3XO EV below the XUV400, aiming to appeal to budget-conscious buyers looking to shift to electric vehicles.
Mahindra hopes to attract a wider audience by offering a more affordable option. The XUV 3XO EV is expected to be priced around Rs 2 lakh less than the XUV400
, which would make it an enticing option for those seeking value without compromising on quality.

With this pricing strategy, the XUV 3XO EV could be placed in the range of Rs 13.49 lakh to Rs 17.39 lakh, making it a strong contender in the electric SUV segment.

This competitive pricing can be designed to position the XUV 3XO EV as a viable alternative to other models, particularly the Tata Nexon EV, which is currently priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.49 lakh.

Mahindra XUV 3XO EV Expected Launch in India

Mahindra has commenced road tests for the electric version of the XUV 3XO, following the launch of the XUV300 facelift in April 2024.

Recently spotted during testing, the XUV 3XO EV offers a first look at its design elements. Positioned below the XUV400 EV in Mahindra’s electric vehicle lineup, this new model is expected to be launched and available in the market by the end of 2024.
