Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the launch of the BE 6 Batman Edition, a special version of its upcoming electric SUV created in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.
Inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy, this edition has been introduced as a collector’s model with several unique styling and design elements.
The BE 6 Batman Edition will be priced at ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and is strictly limited to 300 units worldwide.
Bookings are scheduled to open on August 23, 2025, while deliveries will commence on September 20, 2025, coinciding with International Batman Day.
The Electric SUV carries a custom satin black finish, exclusive to this edition. Enhancing its appearance are gloss-black accents, R20 alloy wheels, and Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers.
In line with its theme, the model features multiple Batman insignias across the exterior. The Bat emblem can be seen on the hubcaps, quarter panels, rear bumper, panoramic infinity roof, and rear windshield.
A “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” limited-edition badge has been placed on the tailgate. The SUV also includes “Night Trail” projection lamps, which display the Bat symbol on the ground when the doors are opened.
The cabin of the Batman Edition is designed with a dual-tone black and gold theme.
Premium suede and leather upholstery with gold stitching has been used across seats and surfaces, while Batman emblems have been embossed on the dashboard, “Boost” button, upholstery labels, and door trims.
Every unit carries a brushed Alchemy Gold plaque on the dashboard, indicating its unique number out of the 300 produced. Further highlights include gold detailing on the steering wheel, electronic parking brake, In-Touch controller, and even the key fob.
The infotainment system has been customised with a Batman-themed welcome animation, along with special ambient lighting and sound effects.
The Batman Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three 79 kWh variant of the BE 6. It is equipped with a rear-mounted electric motor producing around 286 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The SUV offers an ARAI-certified driving range of approximately 682 kilometres on a single charge.
Customers will also have the option to choose between two home charger models: a 7.2 kW unit priced at ₹50,000 and an 11.2 kW unit priced at ₹75,000, excluding installation costs.
