The future of urban mobility is electric, and two industry giants are leading the charge.
Hyundai and TVS Motor Company Today unveiled groundbreaking concept models of electric three-wheelers at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, showcasing innovative designs and technologies that could revolutionize India’s last-mile transportation.
Sharad Mohan Mishra, President, of Group Strategy, TVS Motor Company, said, “By combining Hyundai’s global expertise with our deep understanding of mobility solutions, we aim to develop next-generation micro-mobility solutions that redefine last-mile connectivity.”
Commenting on the concepts, Mr SangYup Lee, Executive Vice President and Head of Hyundai and Genesis Global Design, Hyundai Motor, said, “Collaborating with TVS Motor, we 𝐚𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫 while exploring global opportunities for the four-wheeler, blending intuitive functionality with the spirit of a rapidly innovating India.”
The electric 3W concept designed by Hyundai Motor reimagines India’s ubiquitous motor rickshaw, transforming it into a versatile and eco-friendly vehicle that can serve not only as a people mover but also as an efficient logistics carrier or a rapid-response emergency vehicle.
While these are currently concept models, both Hyundai and TVS have signaled their intent to bring these technologies to market in the coming years.
At the moment the company has not revealed much about its partnership, but we can expect something new in the future.
Hyundai revealed the prices of its recently launched Creta EV at the India Mobility Expo, Hyundai Creta Electric price starts at Rs 17.99 lakh for the base model and goes up to Rs 23.50 lakh (average ex-showroom) for the top model.
