Honda Activa is the best-selling product of India’s most trusted company Honda, now the company is also launching its electric version. The company is quietly launching an electric scooter to compete with the major EV brands and this is Honda’s first electric scooter named Honda Activa Electric.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is working on various projects around electric vehicles and with Honda selling the Activa almost on pre-order in India, the electric variant may also see huge interest.
Seeing the huge love for Activa petrol variants, The company is all set to launch Activa electric scooter variants in India soon. Honda has announced, that it will be using the Mobile Power Pack e (MPP e), a swappable battery system that’s versatile enough for a variety of applications from the first half of 2022. Firstly the Price, as the Activa sells for around Rs 80,000 right now, so those who are interested in the electric variant would expect the pricing to be closer to the petrol variant and hence we expect the company to price the vehicle at around Rs. 1.10 to 1.20 Lakhs (expected ex-showroom Price).
