Bajaj Auto holds the second position with a sales figure of 8,694 units, followed by Ola Electric at the third position with 6,655 units and Ather Energy with 5,360 units at the fourth position in EV Sales Data.

TVS Motors secured the lead position in the market leaderboard in the first two weeks of January 2025, ranking no. 1 with a sales figure of 9,804 units surpassing Bajaj Auto.
TVS iQube was the best-selling electric scooter in the country during the first two weeks, which helped the brand secure a market share of 27%, taking a good lead in the opening month of this year.
Bajaj Auto which was the market leader in December 2024, dropped down a little and secured the second position in the market leaderboard, with a sales figure of 8,694 units.
Bajaj Chetak was amongst one of the best-selling electric scooters in the country, which helped Bajaj Auto secure a market share of 24%.
Ola Electric, the longstanding Electric 2W leader in 2024, secured the third position in the first two weeks of January 2025 with sales of 6,655 units and a reduced market share of 18%.
Ather Energy continued to maintain the fourth spot in the leaderboard in the first two weeks of January 2025 with a sales figure of 5,360 units, holding a market share of 15%.
These four brands account for 84% of the total 36,234 electric two-wheelers sold during the first two weeks of January 2025 all combined, representing their dominance in the rapidly growing Electric 2W market.
The electric two-wheeler market is witnessing a fierce contest in January, with TVS and Bajaj Auto battling ahead for the lead, whilst Ola Electric’s market share further falls.
The January 2025 sales data for the Electric 2W segment reflects a competitive as well as an evolving market in India. It signifies that legacy automakers like TVS and Bajaj are making strong advancements in the segment, challenging newer brands with a potentially tighter fight in the coming months
