Euler Motors, one of India’s leading electric commercial vehicle makers, has announced its foray into the commercial passenger mobility category with a new brand, ‘NEO by Euler’.
Marking this expansion, the company has launched its first product under the umbrella – the NEO HiRANGE, an electric three-wheeler auto-rickshaw, priced at an introductory ₹3,09,999.
The move reflects Euler Motors’ ambition to broaden its EV portfolio beyond cargo vehicles and cater to the rapidly growing demand for sustainable passenger transport in India’s cities.
Auto-rickshaws are central to India’s urban commute, accounting for nearly 20% of daily transport trips in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Despite their importance, the segment has long struggled with issues around reliability, range, durability, and maintenance.
Euler Motors aims to address these gaps with ‘NEO by Euler’, designed after two years of R&D and feedback from 10,000+ auto-rickshaw drivers. The company says the NEO range delivers higher uptime, predictable performance, and cost efficiency – all critical for daily wage drivers.
According to Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors,
“Drivers face challenges every day – from long fuel queues and high maintenance costs to passenger discomfort and low savings. With ‘NEO by Euler’, we have built a no-compromise EV that offers the highest range in a single charge, reliable earnings for drivers, and better comfort for passengers.”
The NEO HiRANGE will be available in three variants:
NEO HiRANGE MAXX
NEO HiRANGE PLUS
NEO HiRANGE
Range: Up to 200+ km real-world range on a single charge
Charging Time: 10% to 80% in 3.25 hours
Performance: 65 Nm torque, hill-assist, and skateboard chassis for stability
Technology: In-house electronics with real-time diagnostics
Safety & Assurance: Anti-theft GPS, up to 6 years/1.75 lakh km warranty
The top-end MAXX variant comes with a 13.44 kWh battery pack and delivers an ARAI-certified 261 km range – one of the highest in its category.
The brand is designed to serve a wide spectrum of users, including:
First-time EV buyers
Ride-hailing app drivers
Fleet operators
Self-employed owners
Over the next 3–4 months, Euler Motors plans to roll out the NEO passenger EVs across 50 Indian cities, strengthening its nationwide presence.
