Out of the total 99,771 three-wheelers sold across all segments in April 2025, the E3W segment with a sales figure of 62,533 units, accounted for 63% of the segment sales as per Vahan Dashboard, meaning that every second three-wheeler sold in April was an electric three-wheeler.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility continued to dominate the market in April 2025 as well and maintained market leadership followed by Bajaj Auto, YC Electric, Saera Electric Auto, and other companies.
As the segment continues to grow, other companies like TVS Motors, JS Auto, Piaggio Vehicles, Energy Electric Vehicles, etc are anticipated to play an important role in shaping the future of electric last-mile mobility in India.
Mahindra Last Mile Mobility leads the Electric 3W market in April, the first month of FY 2025-26 with a sales figure of 5,640 units.
Bajaj Auto is in second place with a sales figure of 5,509 units, followed by YC Electric in third place with 3,365 units.

In a surprising turn of events, Bajaj Auto failed to surpass Mahindra by just 131 units and secured the second position in April 2025. The company sold 5,509 electric three-wheelers this month, a substantial increase from the 1,280 units sold in April 2024. Its YoY growth currently stands at 330%, with a great market share of 9%.
Bajaj Auto currently offers a great range of electric three-wheelers under its RE lineup, designed for passenger transportation and the Maxima lineup designed for cargo transport.
