E-Trio is a Hyderabad-based electric vehicle startup in Telangana. This company used to convert ICE cars into electric cars. As we all know, today, everything can be recycled and reused. In such a situation, e-Trio is considered a good EV startup That not only allows workers to recycle and reuse old cars but also helps to encourage the e-vehicle industry and is a major contributor to it.

The company is in the process of opening its branches in other cities in India.
The COO of the company (e-Trio) Mr. Nitish Bhandari has said that the main objective of this company is to decarbonize India. The company is ready to open its centers in different cities of the country to reduce the availability and service center issues and there will be no need to travel/visit Hyderabad just for the replacement of the car.
The Compay has been converting cars like the Maruti Alto, WagonR, and Dzire. And it offers two types of conversion kits EV-150 and EV-180.

The company claims that Maruti Alto, WagonR, and Dzire can be converted into an Electric car within 48 hours with the help EV-180 kit.
The total cost of EV conversion is around Rs 3.5 to 4 lakhs, minus the cost of the vehicle, which the owner has already brought to the company.
According to industry analysts, electric three-wheelers are proving to be a profitable option due to the increasing number of everyday rides. In comparison to its fuel variant, which costs around Rs. 4 per km to run, the electric option costs around Rs. 0.5 per km.

E-Trio-converted electric vehicles can be charged at any time and from any location, just requiring the vehicles to be plugged in as we usually do to charge with EVs. A regular hatchback takes around 4-5 hours to be fully charged, while a regular sedan takes around 7 hours to be fully charged.
All vehicles have an automatic cut-off system that prevents them from overcharging. For quick charging, customers will have to pay an additional Rs 2 lakh.
