BYD Auto has officially launched its eMax 7 electric MPV in the Indian market. The introductory prices for the Premium variant start at Rs 26.90 lakh, while the Superior variant is priced at Rs 29.90 lakh.

The eMax 7 comes with two battery pack options: 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh. The smaller battery delivers a NEDC-claimed range of 420 km, while the larger one offers a range of up to 530 km.
Powered by an electric motor, the eMax 7 offers two power output options: 163 PS and 204 PS. Both variants deliver a torque of 310 Nm, ensuring brisk acceleration.
The eMax 7 supports both AC and DC charging. The larger battery pack can be charged up to 115 kW using a DC fast charger, while the smaller one supports up to 89 kW.
Customers can choose between 6- and 7-seater layouts to suit their specific needs.
