Ather Energy has achieved a milestone by selling 20000 scooters by October 30.
At retail, Ather Energy has crossed the 20,000 unit sales mark, up from 12,828 vehicles sold in September. This growth reflects a significant increase in market share, rising from 7.9 percent in July to 14.3 percent in September.
Ather Energy, a leading EV brand in India, has now entered the family electric scooter market to cater to a larger customer base.
The company has recently introduced the best family electric scooter in the EV market, the Rizta, which is an electric scooter specially designed keeping in mind the comfort of the family.
A pillion backrest as well as a pillion side step are also included. It features a stylish LED tail light with integrated LED indicators at the back.
With the largest seat in any family scooter in India, it has enough room for both the rider and the pillion.
The driver’s floorboard is also quite roomy.
It has a seat height of 780 mm and a kerb weight of 119 kg which puts it in line with other rival models, however, it is relatively heavier than the other Ather models.
It can easily fit all the family’s needs, including a school bag, grocery bags, handbags, office bags, and any other necessary items. The boot also has a socket to charge electronics.
Additionally, an optional boot organizer that doubles as a carry bag is also available, which makes it very simple to remove all of the items from the boot at once. The total storage capacity of the vehicle is increased to 56 liters with the addition of an optional 22-liter “frunk” (front trunk).
Finally, the top model Rizta Z which is available with a 3.7 kWh battery pack, delivers a higher range of 159 km.
The Ather Rizta takes 8.3 hours to charge from 0 to 100% and 4.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80%.
The Ather Rizta is equipped with a 4.3 kW motor, has a top speed of 80 km per hour and is available with two riding modes: Smart Eco and Zip.
The Ather Rizta is offered in 7 color options. The dual-tone options include Pangong Blue, Cardamom Green, Alphonso Yellow, and Deccan Grey. Meanwhile, the single-tone shades include Pangong Blue, Siachen White, and Deccan Grey.
The Ather Rizta offers a few special features in addition to its design, safety, and performance advantages. The first of them is an integration with Google Maps that updates the dashboard with different routes and real-time traffic information.
It also is well connected with WhatsApp, where one can preview notifications on the dashboard while the vehicle is stationary.
Other helpful features of Ather Rizta include the Auto hold function, reverse mode, music control from the interface along automatic reply on SMS and calls.
Final Thoughts
The Ather Rizta is a thoughtfully designed electric scooter that prioritizes the needs of the family. The company has created an electric scooter that is spacious, safe as well as intelligent enough to be ranked among India’s top family scooters.
