The BAAS program is a game-changer, offering the electric car at an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh, excluding the battery, which is rented at Rs 3.5 per kilometer. This model reduces the upfront cost by Rs 3.5 lakh compared to traditional pricing, making it more accessible.

The BAAS option, with a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner and an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty for subsequent owners, also addresses concerns about battery degradation, a common worry for EV buyers.

This approach has been praised for its affordability, especially in a market where competitors like Tata Nexon EV start at around Rs 14.5 lakh.
