TVS iQube S Electric Scooter
Tvs iQube S is the mid variant of the three released in the iQube lineup. It has slightly better features than the base variant and lacks some of the features from the top variant. This scooter acts as a bridge or a connecting ground between the two other models of this lineup.
Design 
Without starting with the technical design specifications, this scooter has a modern touch to it. The headlights and indicators are placed on the body of the scooter rather than the conventional head position. The “sharp” design of this scooter provides a futuristic feeling. The TVS iQube S has a sleek tubular structure with a telescopic front suspension and an adjustable, hydraulic twin tube shock absorber rear suspension. The overall dimension that is its length, breadth, and height are 1805mm, 645mm, and 1140mm respectively. The ground clearance which is the amount of clear space between the lowest part of the vehicle’s frame and the ground is 157mm. The measurement from the lowest point of the vehicle’s seat to the ground is 770mm. Note that the wheelbase which is the distance between the front and rear axles of the vehicle is 1301mm.
Specifications
The TVS iQube S variant comes with a top speed of 78km/h. There are two modes available in this scooter. Economy, which offers a range of 100 km on a single charge, and Power which provides a range of 75 km on a single charge. It can go from 0-40kmph in just 4.2 seconds. All this power comes from the 3.04 kWh battery which takes 4.5 hours to go from 0-80%. The front suspension is Telescopic and the rear is a Hydraulic twin-tube type.
Features
The braking system on the front wheel is Disc type while the rear wheel has the classic Drum type braking system. This variant of the TVS iQube is fitted with a 17.78 cm TFT screen which can be controlled by a 5-way joystick. Another feature worth noting is the parking assist feature which allows the scooter to go in reverse with just the push of a button. All the models come with a USB charger for mobile charging. Other features of the TVS iQube S include Geo-fencing, Anti-theft alert, Live location status, Distance to Empty meter, side stand indicator, Music control, and an Incognito mode.
Price
The on-road price of the TVS iQube S is around 1,12,500 which might vary depending on the state of residence. While there is a significant price jump, the gap between the features of this scooter and the base model is not so much.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the TVS iQube lineup is a great lineup but considering the price gap between the iQube S and the base model the features seem lacking. Customers should consider increasing their budget by a slight bit to get the top-spec model of this lineup.
