Switch IeV 3 & 4 – Light commercial EV with 1700 kg payload capacity

Switch Mobility Light Commercial Vehicle IeV 

Switch Mobility, a company focused on creating sustainable and innovative transportation solutions, has recently unveiled its newest electric light commercial vehicle, the IeV.

This light electric truck has a gross weight of 3490 kg, is designed for use in various industries like shipping, FMGC and more, and has a range of 120 km on a single charge.

According to Mahesh Babu, CEO of Switch Mobility, the IeV is a major step forward in the company’s mission to create environmentally friendly transportation options for businesses and individuals. The vehicle’s electric powertrain reduces emissions and provides a quiet and smooth ride.

Adding to this, he also said a total of 500 buses are currently on the road for the company, and with this, the company’s market share has increased from 2% to 18% so far this year.

“Our modular platform can be accommodated to multiple use cases. In the next five years, we will be saving up to one million tonnes of CO2. The LCV range will start from two tonnes to 4.5-tonne category.”

The Switch IeV 3 starts at ₹12 lakh while IeV 4 starts at a little over ₹15 lakh.
