First Ola Roadster X rolls out from Ola Futurefactory! Deliveries to begin this month

This move signifies Ola Electric‘s ambitious expansion into the electric motorcycle segment, building upon its established presence in the electric scooter market in India.

In his announcement, Aggarwal stated, “Taking the EV revolution to the next level with the roll-out of our first Roadster X from our Futurefactory today!🏍️” He positioned the new motorcycle as a crucial step in furthering electric vehicle adoption across the country.

“After transforming the scooter market and making EVs mainstream, Ola Electric’s futuristic Roadster X motorcycles are here to accelerate the EV adoption further, making electric the first choice for every rider in India,” Aggarwal wrote. He emphasized the company’s goal of “redefining mobility” and progressing towards its vision of ending the era of internal combustion engines, encapsulated in their “#EndICEAge” hashtag.

Aggarwal highlighted that the Roadster X represents a fundamental reimagining of motorcycling, not merely an incremental update. “When we set out to build the Roadster X, we weren’t interested in incremental improvements. We challenged ourselves to rethink motorcycling from first principles,” he explained, crediting the dedication and innovation of the Ola Electric team for bringing the product to fruition.

With the first units now rolling off the production line, the company is preparing for imminent customer deliveries. “Deliveries will begin this month, and I can’t wait for our community to experience what we’ve built,” Aggarwal concluded, expressing his anticipation for riders to experience the new electric motorcycle.

The launch of the Roadster X diversifies Ola Electric’s portfolio and signals its intent to compete across multiple two-wheeler EV categories in the rapidly growing Indian market.
